Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Lokris Fort Success Guide: How to Find and Eliminate Skylax the Fair Cultist?

While ascending in the storyline of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you will come across a secret organization called Cult of Kosmos. After a cut scene, the players can see the cultist menu on pausing the game. After that, you notice that most of the mentioned cultists’ identities remain undiscovered. To unveil and kill them once and for all you will need to find clues, However, there is one cultist in the Peloponnesian League branch who has the most bizarre clues in the entire game. To solve this mystery and eliminate this cultist, we have come up with our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Lokris Fort Guide.

Part 1: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Lokris Fort Guide

If you open the clue section of this cultist, It will point you in the direction of the “Lokris Fort”. The Clue reads: “The Nation Treasure in Lokris Fort contains a Clue about the Cultists”. But the question is where is the Lokris Fort? just Like you, we wandered around the map in search of Lokris Fort. But sadly, The Fort named Lokris doesn’t exist in the entire game. Instead, you need to find a Fort Named “Xerxes Military Fort” Which can be found in the Lokris region of the map. This is the place where you can find your clue to reveal the masked cultist from the Peloponnesian League branch.

Part 2: Finding Xerxes Military fort

For now, you have solved the first part of the Assassin’s creed odyssey Lokris Fort clue, So the next question is “How to find Xerxes Military Fort in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey?”. To find the Xerxes Military fort, you will need to reach the Lokris area. If you have already discovered this area then it’s easy for you to see the fort, you just need to go to this area or simply open the map section and find the Lokris region from there. However, if you have never set foot in this area then you first need to discover this area and then look for Xerxes Military fort.

Lokris region lies in the Northern part of the map of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. It is North of Boeotia and East of Phokis. We have attached a map image here for your convenience.

Part 3: Reaching Xerxes Military Fort

Now the second part of the clue is covered, which ascends us to the third part, which is “How to reach the Xerxes Military Fort”.

Well, Reaching there is totally up to you and your play style. You have the option of taking a stroll from wherever you are and killing enemies and animals on your way to  Xerxes Military Fort, or you can do the same but much faster by riding a horse as we did.

Once you are at Lokris, find Red Lake Bay. It’s a sizable chunk of land in the Lokris Area that appears to be covered by red water. I have attached an image of the Red Lake Bay area for your convenience.

Part 4: Infiltrating Xerxes Military Fort for the Clue

Depending on what character level you are playing, It will not be a piece of cake to Infiltrate this crowded Xerxes Military Fort. So, what can you do?

Like always, when you need intelligence on enemy hideouts and collectibles you need Ikaros’s help; the same applies here. Your bird friend can spot the chest inside the Xerxes Military fort. Keep in mind that depending on your game’s progression, if Sparta is in control of this region then the chest will be red; However, if Athens is in control of the region, the chest will be blue/purple-ish.

Now that your bird friend Ikaros has spotted the chest lying in the Xerxes Military Fort, the only challenge that remains is to reach the chest to open it and reveal the culprits.

If you have legendary weapons and armor on you, then the fort will get bloody and your chances of victory are high. However, if you are under-leveled then fighting enemies of all sizes straight on might be difficult for you. Whatever you do, just reach the chest and open it to reveal the cultist’s identity and reach the final stage of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Lokris Fort Guide.

Part 5: Eliminating Skylax the Fair

We are assuming that you have opened the chest and obtained the clue. The clue reveals Skylax the Fair, and in my experience, this is the only cultist in the Peloponnesian League branch which is not easy to find.

Now that you have revealed your culprit, so sharpen your blade, confront Skylax the Fair in Chalkis City, and complete Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Lokris Fort guide.

Chalkis City is located on South West of Abantis Island. You can fast travel to Poseidon Temple or take a boat from Lokris to Chalkis city like us, however; you first need to discover this area. I have included an image of Chalkis City on the map for your convenience.

Skylax the fair sits with the high-level enemies at the Leader House located at the South of Dirfi foothills. Stealth is not an option this time because he travels with his bodyguards.

We found him in the Slave section of the market, near Chalkis City. He was sitting at the desk in one of the open buildings of the market.

You need to strategize your fight by taking out one enemy at a time to receive a legendary armor loot after killing Skylax the Fair.

Now that you have hopefully found the culprit and eliminated him, you will receive a legendary Spartan War Hero Armor, 250 Darchmae, and random loot.
